Raphael Academy Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Raphael Academy. Our application process is designed to facilitate an open exchange of information between families and the school. Through this process parents can learn more about both Waldorf Education and curative education. This process also allows both Raphael Academy and the applicant’s family to determine if the school is a good fit for the applicant.

 

How to Apply

There are several ways you can submit an application to Raphael Academy:

Additional Application Materials

$50 Application Fee

All paper and digital applications must be submitted along with a $50 non-refundable application fee.

We accept checks, cash, and credit cards via PayPal (below). Checks can be made out to Raphael Academy and mailed to 517 Soraparu Street, Suite 104, New Orleans, LA, 70130.


Applicant’s Name

In addition to the application, you must also submit:

  • A Records Release Form to your child’s current school or current program (e.g., ABA therapy) so that student records and IEP’s may be forwarded to Raphael Academy. For students not currently enrolled in school or another day program, please submit the most current school records.
  • Educational evaluation and/or psychological evaluation (current within the past three years).
  • Speech therapy and/or occupational therapy evaluations (current within the past three years)

Upon Application

All application materials will be reviewed by the class teacher who will determine if an interview or class visit is the appropriate next step. The Enrollment Director will contact you to schedule either an interview and/or a five-day class visit. After this step, eligibility for acceptance into the class will be determined by the faculty. Their decision will be communicated in writing to the applicant’s parents or guardians.

Upon acceptance, the Enrollment Director will be in contact with the family to execute an Enrollment Agreement and to make all necessary financial arrangements.

Financial Assistance

We offer limited tuition assistance for families that qualify. Families that turn in a student application and application fee should visit TADS to set up an account and complete the application process.
