In the Fiber Studio, Guild members learn the craft of weaving and create one of a kind handmade items such as scarves, shopping bags, table runners, and dishcloths on both table and floor looms. The learning process begins by choosing both colors and patterns with which to make their projects. As each Guild member’s skills progress, they add patterns to their work, which can range from simple to more complex designs. The purpose of the work in the Fiber Studio is to make something that is both beautiful and functional.
