The Hive’s mission is to empower individuals to become successful, independent professionals by offering personalized support that equips them with them with the resources and guidance needed to excel  in competitive job markets.

What We Offer

The Hive is a certified vendor with Louisiana Rehabilitation Services (LRS) and a Medicaid provider of Supported Employment Services and offers a comprehensive pathway for individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment.

Career Specialists support employers by providing training, enhancing employee retention, and ensuring clear communication between employers and our Hive clients. They help align workforce strategies with business needs, promote inclusive hiring practices, advise on workplace accommodations, and assist in the successful integration of new employees.

Alyssa Pritchett, Hive Director

Alyssa Pritchett received a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and Social Work from Nicholls State University. She served as the Ombudsman at Disability Rights Louisiana and worked at Magnolia Community Services as a Supported Independent Living Coordinator and Case Manager.

Alyssa also serves as a Board Member for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans. Her commitment to advocacy and building community is an asset to the important work she is charged with to support individuals in finding meaningful employment.
